About the role
The Luxembourg Fund Monitoring Analyst is the primary liaison for MIL Boston, MIL Europe, and the Transfer Agent on all operational and service-related issues. Following established procedures, they communicate with dealers, bankers, wholesalers, and sales desk representatives to identify and address service issues. They use discretion and judgment to make recommendations concerning processing and issue resolution. They also reply to calls and mail on behalf of the team manager.
Responsibilities
- Provides operational support for MFS business areas including global sales team, client services, wholesalers (e.g., offices located in LATAM, London, Italy, and various remote offices, etc.) by working directly with the Transfer Agent to resolve complex problems.
- Attends and chairs calls with Transfer Agent to review Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and escalate issues.
- Acts as a point of contact with internal business departments on projects and enhancements.
- Makes recommendations for process improvements, efficiencies, and issue resolution.
- Interacts internally and with vendors to develop, update, and implement procedural enhancements.
- Safeguards team controls and ensures adherence to them.
- Communicates and prepares ad hoc and operational reporting for management and other business areas including MIL, Legal, and various other groups within MFS.
- Manages escalations from various departments within MIL, including global offices in London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
- Manages client complaints and ensures resolution in accordance with regulations and policy.
- Captures feedback and initiates appropriate updates to operating memorandums and service agreements.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years relevant experience.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Understanding of Transfer Agent policies and procedures.
- Understanding of compliance rules and regulations in Luxembourg and Latin America.
- Highly proficient in Word and Excel.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of two to three years' Operations experience and demonstrated ability to coordinate work with others, internal and external, required.
Benefits
- Base Salary Range: $55,500.00 - $80,500.00
- This position is eligible for competitive incentive bonus.
