Salary: $19.26 per hour, not eligible for benefits. Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley-Evans School District 6 rehires, up to $30.86 per hour plus benefits.
Contract Length/Days: 182 days (2026-2027 school year), 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
About the Role
This position involves supervising elementary school students during lunch periods and on school grounds to ensure safety and maintain discipline according to school and district policies.
Responsibilities
- Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch periods, including serving lines, eating, and dismissal.
- Supervise students outside the building on school grounds, including playground equipment, ensuring safety.
- Maintain discipline in the cafeteria according to school and district policies.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the cafeteria.
- Assist students during lunch periods as needed.
- Maintain positive and professional communication with staff, students, parents, and community members.
- Adhere to school and district policies and procedures.
- Understand and apply school PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) and discipline procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups of elementary school-age children.
- Ability to sit for long periods, handle numerous distractions, and maintain visual, auditory, and ambulatory acuity.
- Ability to move quickly in response to student needs and upper body strength to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Regular attendance is required.
