Lumber Mill Maintenance

Location: North Plains, Oregon

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support mill operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This role is critical in minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient plant performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on sawmill and production equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, and drive systems
• Conduct equipment installations and modifications as needed
• Perform welding and fabrication repairs
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance work
• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience working in manufacturing or lumber mill environments preferred
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems
• Welding and fabrication experience a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong safety mindset

$25-$30/hr.
