Lubrication Technician

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment
• Follow PJHA process, observation process, and comply with all safety guidelines and procedures
• Lubricate and perform preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, power transmissions, and other rotating equipment
• Perform lubrication sampling, filtering, and replenishment in accordance with ICML best practices
• Formulate and implement preventive maintenance/lubrication standards and procedures
• Assist in developing preventive/predictive maintenance procedures
• Ensure compliance with company and customer regulations, policies, and procedures
• Communicate effectively with team members to support short- and long-term planning
• Perform assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and accurately
• Complete administrative duties such as time accounting and work order completion
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations

Requirements

• AA degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred, but not required
• IMCL MLT 1 certification required
• Five years’ experience in industrial maintenance/lubrication preferred

Qualifications

• Ability to observe details at close range
• Control precision and manual dexterity
• Substantial lifting up to 50 pounds
• Ability to move for extended periods
• Operate forklifts or other vehicles safely
• Wear a respirator while performing job duties
• Effective communication and expression skills
• Information ordering ability

Skills

• Knowledge of lubrication best practices and preventive/predictive maintenance procedures
• MLT Level 1 Lubrication Technician certification
• Ability to work without supervision
• Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends

$24.65 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
