Lubrication Technician

Responsibilities

• Work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
• Follow PJHA process, observation process, and comply with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
• Lubricate and perform preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, power transmissions, and other power-driven rotating equipment.
• Perform lubrication sampling, filtering, and replenishment in accordance with ICML best practices.
• Formulate and implement preventive maintenance/lubrication standards and work procedures.
• Assist in developing preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Communicate with team members to support short- and long-range planning aligned with company goals and objectives.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.

Requirements

• AA degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred, but not required.
• IMCL MLT 1 certification preferred.
• Five years’ experience in industrial maintenance/lubrication preferred.

Qualifications

• The ability to observe details at close range.
• Control precision and manual dexterity.
• Substantial lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move for extended periods.
• Operate forklifts or other vehicles safely.
• Wear a respirator while performing job duties.
• Communicate effectively and express information clearly.
• Order and arrange things or actions according to a specific rule or set of rules.

Skills

• Knowledge of lubrication best practices and preventive/predictive maintenance procedures.
• MLT Level 1 Lubrication Technician certification.
• Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays and weekends.
