About the Role
Performs lubrication and periodic maintenance tasks on Texas First Rentals rental equipment in field/job locations. The incumbent is expected to model the following practices daily:

Responsibilities
- Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with Vision, Values, and Mission
- Performs lubrication and periodic maintenance service work on heavy equipment located in the field to respond to customer needs
- Grease and lubricate vehicles or specified units, such as springs, universal joints, or steering knuckles, using grease guns or spray lubricants
- Maintains appearance and operation of lubrication truck to ensure productivity and position representation to Texas First Rentals/HOLT customers
- Completes all necessary forms and documentation associated with Customer Service Agreements (CSA) accurately and timely to meet internal and external needs
- Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
- Requires regular and punctual attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One or more years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience
- Valid Driver’s license required
- Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and must have an acceptable driving record
- Up to 20% travel
Skills
- Knowledge of construction equipment, aerial, and lifting equipment
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and practices
- Knowledge of operating characteristics and limitations of the equipment being operated
- Knowledge of safe work procedures and practices
- Knowledge of tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance
- Proficiency with current computer software, related hardware, and basic knowledge of machine electronic systems
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Operation and control skills of equipment or systems
- Ability to interact with tact and courtesy and maintain a professional demeanor
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, and customers
- Ability to read and understand equipment service manuals and lubrication charts
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to perform each job duty and responsibility satisfactorily; reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities
- Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
- Frequently moves materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Constant movement and use of limbs; requires good manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina
- Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet, and climb up and down ladders
- Must be able to safely maneuver and work underneath equipment
- Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work
Work Environment
- Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment
- Regularly works outdoors around moving mechanical parts; noise level may be loud at times
- May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
- Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment
- Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places
