Lube & Tire Technician Responsibilities
- Apply lubricants to the moving parts of vehicle engines to prevent premature engine wear and ensure optimal engine performance.
- Replace cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
- Install and balance tire/wheel assemblies weighing up to 75 lbs with lifting assistance.
- Check tire wear patterns.
- Perform tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
- Test tire pressure and add air as needed.
- Conduct maintenance on or install new TPMS systems.
- Thoroughly inspect customers' vehicles for oil leaks.
- Make recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
- Notify the Service Advisor when vehicle maintenance or servicing cannot be completed within the scheduled time frames.
- Drive vehicles into and out of the service areas.
- Provide excellent customer service and promotes store sales.
Lube & Tire Technician Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Experience in automotive maintenance and repair preferred.
- Experience in tire service preferred.
- Knowledge of tire sizes and applications is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
