LTS Special Education Teacher, EBD Center-Based - 1.0 FTE - Eagle Creek Elementary

Job Summary

Deliver direct and indirect services to students with learning and/or social, emotional and behavioral needs; monitor and document student progress; develop/manage IEPs and facilitate team meetings; oversee paraprofessionals and collaborate with families and other staff on services and strategies.

Qualifications

• Current and valid MN teaching license in ASD, EBD, DCD or ABSP
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction
• Strong classroom management skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build successful relationships with students, parents and staff
