LTP III (Clinical Therapist / Mental Health Professional)

About the role

This position provides clinical services within the County’s Outpatient Clinic and Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program. The role includes providing individual therapy services, facilitating group therapy sessions, and serving as a Mental Health Professional within CCS by offering clinical supervision, reviewing assessments and service plans, and supporting case management staff. Qualified candidates may also serve in both MHP and SAP roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy services
• Facilitate group therapy sessions
• Offer clinical supervision to CCS staff
• Review and sign assessments, service plans, and crisis documentation
• Support case management staff
• Engage in regular case staffings, clinical supervision, and case consultations
• Collaborate with CCS team members to ensure program, statute, and Medicaid guidelines are followed
• Assist with CCS orientation for new employees and program training
• Participate in meetings with CCS administration, MHP, and CCS coordinating committee

Requirements

To qualify, candidates must possess a fully licensed Mental Health Professional certification and meet the educational and experience requirements outlined above. Candidates must also have the ability to communicate effectively, document information accurately, and work independently.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field from an accredited college or university
• Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling preferred
• Experience providing behavioral health services preferred
• Certifications and licenses as specified in the job description
