About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to triage patients, expedite referrals to specialty offices, answer patient and specialty office calls, and complete referral requests. The role involves maintaining ongoing tracking and documentation of referrals, ensuring timely follow-up, and reminding patients of their appointments.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients
- Expedite patient referrals to specialty offices, answer patient and specialty office calls, and complete referral requests
- Maintain ongoing tracking and documentation on referrals in a well-organized, detail-oriented manner
- Work independently and unsupervised while maintaining a superior work ethic
- Ensure referrals are addressed in a timely manner
- Remind patients of their appointments
- Use Microsoft Outlook and Excel for general computer tasks
Requirements
- Certificate of Completion (Licensed Practical Nurse degree)
- Must be IV certified
- Completed LPN or LVN license required upon starting work
- 1 year of healthcare or nursing experience preferred
- General computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Pay
From $19.00 per hour (based on qualifications)
