About the role
This is a PRN (as-needed) position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The role requires IV certification and involves triaging patients, expediting referrals to specialty offices, answering calls, and maintaining organized documentation. You will work independently, ensuring timely follow-up on referrals and reminding patients of appointments.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients
- Expedite patient referrals to specialty offices, answer patient and specialty office calls, and complete referral requests
- Maintain ongoing tracking and documentation on referrals in a well-organized, detail-oriented manner
- Work independently and unsupervised while maintaining a superior work ethic
- Ensure referrals are addressed in a timely manner
- Remind patients of their appointments
Requirements
- Certificate of Completion (Licensed Practical Nurse program)
- Must be IV certified
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- 1+ years of healthcare or nursing experience (preferred)
- Active LVN or LPN license (required upon starting work)

Pay
From $19.00 per hour (based on qualifications)
