LPN Unit Nurse 12hr AM & PM Shift- Base wage starting at $32.59/hour

About the role

Michigan Masonic Home is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide skilled nursing services under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Physician.

Responsibilities

• Administers nursing procedures as outlined in the resident’s care plan, including dressing changes, tube feedings, oxygen therapy, range of motion exercises, catheterization, diabetic care, etc.
• Prepares and administers prescribed medications according to policies and procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation of resident care in the electronic medical record and other required documents.
• Assists with rehabilitation programming, activities, and ADLs.
• Monitors and documents vital signs and other resident care measures.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure effective care delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical nursing education program.
• Valid State of Michigan LPN license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates or experienced LPNs qualify for this position.
