Local Contract PICU Registered Nurse - $54-64 per hour

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) for a local contract nursing position in Cleveland, Ohio. This role will be for 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift, nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care services to pediatric patients requiring intensive medical attention.
• Assess and monitor patient conditions, adjust treatments as necessary, and communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and provide ongoing patient education.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.

Requirements

• Current RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Experience in pediatric intensive care preferred.
• Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Passing scores on relevant certifications (e.g., PALS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a rotating schedule.
