Local Contract PICU Registered Nurse - $54-64 per hour
About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) for a local contract nursing position in Cleveland, Ohio. This role will be for 13 weeks, working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift, nights.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care services to pediatric patients requiring intensive medical attention.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, adjust treatments as necessary, and communicate with physicians and other healthcare providers.
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and provide ongoing patient education.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience in pediatric intensive care preferred.
- Knowledge of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Passing scores on relevant certifications (e.g., PALS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to a rotating schedule.
