Responsibilities

  • Makes sure residents receive quality care by assessing them as needed, addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual concerns.
  • Consults with families about resident care needs.
  • Trains and educates health services employees as necessary.
  • Provides one-on-one coaching to Medication Technicians.
  • Guides the Health Services team to ensure state guidelines are followed.
  • Maintains alert charting to ensure appropriate responses from employees and assesses the need for nursing assessments.
  • Makes sure consulting pharmacy reports are monitored.
  • Makes sure resident incident reports are reviewed and assessed.
  • Makes sure health services employees follow all medication room systems.
  • Makes sure all federal and state regulations pertaining to health services are adhered to.

Qualifications

  • Has an Oregon LPN License.
  • Is able to put residents first while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Is organized and effective in keeping track of multiple deadlines.
  • Has a "Can Do" attitude, even if tasks are not enjoyable.
  • Has good judgment and professional maturity.
  • Has strong computer skills.
