Responsibilities
- Makes sure residents receive quality care by assessing them as needed, addressing physical, emotional, social, and spiritual concerns.
- Consults with families about resident care needs.
- Trains and educates health services employees as necessary.
- Provides one-on-one coaching to Medication Technicians.
- Guides the Health Services team to ensure state guidelines are followed.
- Maintains alert charting to ensure appropriate responses from employees and assesses the need for nursing assessments.
- Makes sure consulting pharmacy reports are monitored.
- Makes sure resident incident reports are reviewed and assessed.
- Makes sure health services employees follow all medication room systems.
- Makes sure all federal and state regulations pertaining to health services are adhered to.
Qualifications
- Has an Oregon LPN License.
- Is able to put residents first while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Is organized and effective in keeping track of multiple deadlines.
- Has a "Can Do" attitude, even if tasks are not enjoyable.
- Has good judgment and professional maturity.
- Has strong computer skills.
