About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week temporary assignment at Maple Heights Behavioral Health in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The position offers $35 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient health and administer basic care within the LPN/LVN scope of practice.
• Collaborate with others to meet patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs.
• Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, coworkers, and healthcare providers.
• Provide safe medication administration in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Document patient symptoms, responses, and progress accurately and thoroughly.
• Perform other assigned tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years of nursing experience within a clinical area of service.
• Current LPN/LVN license as required by state.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available).

Qualifications

Desired behavioral health experience, but not required.

Skills

Positive, empathetic attitude, strong customer service skills, and a focus on patient safety.

Pay

$35 per hour for full-time temp.

Schedule

Full-time temp set schedule, day shift 9am - 9pm, 3-12s, and every other weekend rotation.

Note: This is a temporary assignment and not an agency contract. Travel stipends or reimbursements are not covered. No benefits are provided.
