LPN Team Leader - Full Time

About the Role

Oversees daily office operations, assigns duties to nurses, manages workload balance, handles patient triage and education, communicates and resolves disputes, and responds to emergencies. Facilitates patient flow and requests coverage as needed.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and resolve disputes among staff and patients
• Respond to emergencies and urgent situations
• Document in medical records while adhering to policies
• Facilitate patient flow and manage workload balance
• Request coverage as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Active Florida Practical Nursing license
• CPR certification
• BLS certification (within three months of hire)

Preferred Experience

• One year of experience in a healthcare facility
• Experience with procedural scheduling
• Orthopedics experience preferred

Physical & Work Environment

• Requires walking and standing for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Frequent computer use and equipment manipulation
• Ability to assist with procedures
• Effective communication with staff, patients, and providers
• Possible exposure to bio-hazardous materials
