Overview
This position is located at our McDuffie facility in Thomson, GA. Three 12-hour shifts per week.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements
- Functions within the framework of their license and the policy and procedures of the organization
- Demonstrates professional growth and accountability
- Guides ancillary staff
- Collaborates with other health care professionals in the provision of quality nursing care
- Bleeds compassion, caring and technologically appropriate competency resulting in holistic care to the patient
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an LPN program
- Nursing Experience: In Hospital Setting
- Licenses and Certifications: LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Required, BCLS - Basic Life Support Required, ACLS and PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support if working in Emergency Department within 180 Days
