LPN-skilled Caregiver For 7 Year Old Boy

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate, skilled caregiver to assist a disabled child at home and at school. The client is blind, deaf, has limited mobility, and has a G-tube.

Responsibilities

• Incontinence care – changing and providing hygiene when needed
• Assisting with clothing change if needed
• Light bathing when needed, such as wiping the client’s face or hands of food or drink spills
• G-tube feedings and tube care
• Engage in play, supervision, and conversation
• Regular communication to the client’s family regarding daily activities and any changes in the client’s status

Schedule

• W/Th/Fri 6:30 am to 6:00 pm
• Gap coverage on W/Th/Fri 7:30 am–8:30 am and after-school 3:30 pm–4:30 pm

Pay

• $50+ per hour (depending on credentials and experience)

Qualifications

• Licensure as LPN preferred
• Previous caregiving experience with pediatric clients preferred

Skills & Experience

• Years of experience: 1+ to 2 years
• Minimum education: Some college
