About the role

The LPN Supervisor oversees, mentors, and nurtures a team of healthcare professionals in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of The Bristal, a luxury assisted living community. This role involves providing care and assistance to residents in managing their activities of daily living and administering medications. Additionally, the Supervisor acts as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides, and medication technicians
  • Provide care and assistance to residents in managing their activities of daily living
  • Administer medications to residents under the guidance of the Director of Wellness
  • Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents
  • Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
  • Supervise and ensure adherence to MAR’s and doctors' orders
  • Assist residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia

Requirements

  • Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
  • Active LPN certification
  • A genuine desire to improve the quality of life of residents
  • Caring, reliable, and observant personality
  • Understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders

Qualifications

  • Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently
