LPN Shift Supv | Every Wednesdays 8pm-830am, 12.5 hours

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN Supervisor to oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides and medication technicians in the busy Wellness/Resident Services Center of our luxury assisted living community.

Responsibilities

• Provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Administer residents’ medications under the guidance of the Director of Wellness
• Act as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the Wellness/Resident Services Center
• Care for residents with skill and genuine kindness, contributing to the quality of life and general wellbeing of our residents
• Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
• Supervise and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, HHA's, resident care aides, and medication technicians
• Assist in the administration of residents’ medications, following MAR’s and doctors' orders
• Prioritize tasks, multi-task, and work independently to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Wellness/Resident Services Center

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
• Active LPN certification
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life of our residents
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (a plus)
• Caring, reliable, and observant nature
• Understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders
