About the role

The LPN Supervisor position at The Bristal Assisted Living is a leadership opportunity within a senior care organization that values its employees as individuals. This role involves overseeing, mentoring, and nurturing a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being and safety of residents.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and mentor a team of nurses, HHA’s, resident care aides, and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center
• Provide care and assistance to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Administer medications to residents under the guidance of the Director of Wellness
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, ensuring the smooth operation of the center
• Lead the team in providing compassionate and attentive care to residents
• Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures, and follow the instructions of the Director of Wellness
• Assist residents with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, if applicable
• Manage the team in a way that enhances the quality of life and general wellbeing of residents

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment
• Active LPN certification
• A genuine desire to improve the quality of life of residents
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia (optional but preferred)
• Caring, reliable, and observant nature
• Understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders
