Responsibilities

• Oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides and medication technicians in the busy Wellness/Resident Services Center.
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director.
• Provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs) and administration of medications.
• Lead the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness.
• Ensure the care and safety of residents.
• Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness.

Requirements

• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment.
• Active LPN certification.
• Driven by a genuine desire to improve the quality of life of residents.
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus.
• Caring, reliable and observant with an understanding of MAR’s and doctors' orders.
• Excel in prioritizing, multi-tasking and working independently.
