LPN Shift Supervisor (Per Diem)

We are currently seeking a per diem LPN who will embody the passion and commitment required to deliver the ultimate care for our residents. About this role: You will pick up shifts as needed. Requirements: Current LPN licensure in the state of New YorkPrior experience in long-term care or assisted living preferredStrong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric careExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively as part of a team Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervision of trained Medication AidesSupervision and assignment of Resident Care CoordinatorsSupervision and maintenance of the 24 hour shift reportApprise family and M.D. of changes in resident’s health and behavior in the absence of the Director of Resident ServicesIn an emergency, will pass medications to the residentsPerform and verify NARC Count – Beginning and end of each shiftOther related duties as directedWe offer an excellent salary, dynamic work environment and a comprehensive benefits package.
