LPN Shift Supervisor (All Shifts)

About the Role

As an LPN Supervisor, you will oversee, mentor, and nurture a team of nurses, home health aides, resident care aides, and medication technicians in our luxury assisted living community. You will act as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, providing compassionate care to residents while managing their activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication administration. Your leadership and genuine kindness are essential to ensuring the safety, care, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of nurses, home health aides, resident care aides, and medication technicians.
• Provide attentive care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication administration.
• Lead the team in delivering skilled and compassionate care to residents.
• Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness.
• Prioritize tasks, multitask effectively, and work independently.

Requirements

• Active LPN certification.
• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home, or similar environment.
• Genuine desire to improve the quality of life for residents.
• Experience assisting individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia is a plus.
• Caring, reliable, and observant with a strong understanding of MARs (Medication Administration Records) and doctors’ orders.
