About the role
At PSI, nurses in schools are part of the school community. You’ll have clear expectations, structured support, and consistent schedules. Why Nurses Choose School-Based Roles at PSI: no nights, no weekends, no holidays, no summer work required (but available for some), predictable daily schedule, relationship-based care (not task‑based hospital pace), opportunity to truly know your students and families. Why Nurses Stay at PSI: family‑friendly schedule and true work‑life balance, benefits available at 30+ hours/week, PTO, 401(k) with company contributions after first year, mentorship and onboarding support, professional development opportunities, supportive leadership. School Clinic Snapshot: independent clinic role with school team collaboration, consistent daily schedule, clear protocols and district health guidelines in place, PSI support available if clinical or workflow questions arise.
