About the role
Maintain ongoing tracking and documentation on referrals, ensuring they are well-organized and detailed.
Work independently and unsupervised, maintaining a superior work ethic.
Ensure referrals are addressed in a timely manner and remind patients of their appointments.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients
- Expedite patient referrals to specialty offices
- Answer patient and specialty office calls
- Complete referral requests
- Remind patients of their appointments
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse Degree: Certificate of Completion
- Must be IV certified
- General Computer Skills Required - Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare: 1 year (Preferred)
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) (Preferred)
- License/Certification: LVN (Preferred)
