What You'll Do
- Assessing and treating employees with occupational injuries and illnesses
- Administering immunizations, TB testing, drug and alcohol screenings, and other occupational health services
- Performing pre-employment, annual, and regulatory health screenings
- Communicating with employers, referring providers, Third Party Administrators (TPAs), and Case Managers while maintaining patient confidentiality
- Assisting with Workers' Compensation case coordination and return-to-work processes
- Supporting compliance with OSHA regulations, Illinois Workers' Compensation requirements, DOT regulations, and infection prevention standards
- Collaborating with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely, high-quality patient care
- Maintaining accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Providing exceptional customer service while promoting a positive experience for employees and employer partners
Qualifications For Both Roles
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) required
- Previous occupational health, employee health, ambulatory care, urgent care, or outpatient clinic experience preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, Illinois Workers' Compensation, DOT regulations, drug and alcohol screening, and case management preferred
- Knowledge of infection prevention practices and vaccine administration preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
