Responsibilities

• Perform services and procedures requiring basic knowledge of biological, physical, behavioral, psychological, and sociological sciences.
• Utilize standardized procedures in the observation and care of the ill, injured, and infirm; maintenance of health; safeguarding life and health; and administration of medication and treatments as prescribed by authorized personnel under state law.
• Directly accountable and responsible to the patient for the quality of nursing care rendered.

Requirements

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
• IV Certification.
• Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
• One year's experience in acute care is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team to ensure quality patient care.
• Strong critical thinking skills.

Since 1968, Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital has specialized in rebuilding lives and renewing hope through intensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs tailored to patients' needs.
