LPN-Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Outpatient-Neuroscience Center

Location: 355 W. 16th St., Suite 2800, Indianapolis, IN 46202

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (no weekends or holidays)

About the Role

Join a growing outpatient clinic in a newly added role due to clinic expansion. Work alongside a collaborative team of providers, RNs, and support staff. Opportunity to support both Adult Psychiatry and Concierge Clinic services.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient message pools and follow-up communication
• Process medication refills
• Complete prior authorizations
• Handle critical patient calls and care coordination
• Review and communicate lab results
• Administer injections
• Support TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) services
• Provide backup support for Medical Assistants as needed
• Know and use the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to individual patients
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team
• Evaluate response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement
• Accept delegated nursing measures for which you are prepared, qualified, and licensed to perform

Requirements

• Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA (other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies)
• Successful completion of orientation
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
