About the role

Join our team as a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and enjoy the flexibility to make your own schedule and pick up shifts that suit you. The role involves providing professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care, under supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles and applies age‑appropriate standards to meet residents' physical and psychosocial needs based on care plans.
• Performs testing, evaluates data, and responds effectively in emergent situations.
• Ensures residents' health, comfort, and safety while administering medications and treatments as ordered.
• Documents resident interactions and outcomes accurately and collaborates with healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Communicates clearly, maintains confidentiality, and counsels residents and families on care and prevention.
• Provides quality resident care, medication management, resident education, and works effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing Board or multi‑state licensure.
• Experience or clinical hours in diverse settings; additional IV therapy skills preferred.
• Completion of required continuing education and certifications.
