Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles and applies age-appropriate standards to meet residents' physical and psychosocial needs based on care plans. Performs testing, evaluates data, and responds effectively in emergent situationsEnsures residents' health, comfort, and safety while administering medications and treatments as orderedDocuments resident interactions and outcomes accurately and collaborates with healthcare professionals as part of an interdisciplinary team. Communicates clearly, maintains confidentiality, and counsels residents and families on care and prevention. Qualifications Include Graduation from an accredited practical nursing programUnencumbered LPN license with State Nursing Board or multi-state licensureExperience or clinical hours in diverse settings, with additional IV therapy skills preferredCompletion of required continuing education and certifications Key duties involve providing quality resident care, medication management, resident education, and working effectively within a team. The position offers differential pay for night and weekend shifts, with a focus on flexibility and professional development.
