About the role

Malone Medical Practices at University of Vermont Health – Alice Hyde Medical Center is a primary care clinic. We use a team-based approach to deliver high-quality care. Work alongside primary care providers who perform routine check-ups, well-care appointments and coordinate care and referrals to specialists.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, provision of supportive and restorative care, administering medication(s), and provide nursing treatment under the direction of a registered nurse, licensed physician or other health care provider.
• Monitor that Plan of Care is being followed by clinical staff under their supervision.
• Supervise certified nurse aides or unlicensed assistive personnel.
• Provide supervision, coordination, and evaluation of assigned unit health care team and services.
