LPN - Pediatric Nights

About the role

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, procedures, and medications
• Manage various patient needs such as wound care, tracheostomy, g-tubes, catheters, ventilators, and medication administration
• Create customized care plans to accommodate patient’s needs, preferences, and concerns
• Support work-life balance with flexible scheduling and access to a Clinical Manager 24/7
• Receive electronic charting with laptops within patient’s home
• Participate in award and recognition programs
• Benefit from superior training including lab training, shadowing, preceptor, and hands-on training
• Gain experience with diverse patient types including pediatric, adult, and higher acuity cases
• Build long-term relationships with patients and witness their health goals and milestones
• Participate in a Novice Nurse Program for new graduates

Requirements

Must be licensed as an LPN in the state of Texas. Previous home health experience is preferred but not required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited LPN program. Current CPR certification. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of home health care practices and procedures.

$25 - $30 per hour
