LPN - Pediatric Home Care Nurse

About the Role

Our BAYADA Sellersville Pediatric Office is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric care to join our Skilled Nursing team. We are currently looking for day and overnight shift nurses interested in trach and ventilator training to provide care for children in the Pennsburg, Red Hill, Quakertown, Telford, Perkasie, Coopersburg, and Souderton areas.

Private duty nursing differs from home health visits in several ways:

• Traditional shifts (8 or 10 hours)
• Hands-on care with only one client per day
• Opportunity to build client relationships and witness milestones
• No weekend requirements

Responsibilities

• Travel to one client near you on a schedule you choose
• Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
• Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations
• Report any changes in the client's condition to the Clinical Manager and physician
• Perform skills with autonomy in the home

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state

Pay

Up to $32/hr
