About the role

The LPN, under the direction and supervision of the Practice Manger or RN, is responsible for the care of the patient and family utilizing age appropriate principles of growth and development for patients of all ages according to the practice specialty.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency
• Address health educational needs for patients, families and other health care providers
• Manage patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to the office operations
• Apply knowledge of growth and development in patient interactions
• Supervise students providing patient care, treatment and services as part of their training

Qualifications

Required: Diploma, Licensed Practical Nurse

Desired: One year in an acute care setting
