LPN Outpatient Wound Care

Lee Physician Group has an excellent opportunity for an experienced LPN to join their Outpatient Wound Care Clinic in Fort Myers. The LPN will provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced Wound Care & Hyperbaric Medicine practice, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. This high-volume surgical wound care office cares for more than 120 patients each day. The ideal candidate will thrive in a busy clinical environment, provide compassionate and efficient patient care, and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents selected tasks such as the administration of treatments and medications in delivery of patient care under the guidance and discretion of the registered nurse.
• Assists the Registered Nurse in collecting health data according to established policies.
• Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
• Supports the organization’s vision and mission.
• Uses knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
• Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved vocational/practical nursing program.
• Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Florida.
• Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
• 30-hour IV Course may be required based on specialty.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and customer service skills.

Pay

$22.34 - $29.04 / hour

Full Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
