LPN Outpatient Clinic
About the role
River Family Health Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in our outpatient clinics. As an LPN, you will be a vital part of our healthcare team, providing quality care to our patients under the direction of the Nurse Manager. You will perform initial health screenings and demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills with patients, family members, and other healthcare team members.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments
- Perform tests and initial health screenings
- Provide patient education
- Work with physicians to ensure the best possible care for patients
- Perform tasks and duties within the scope of an LPN license
- Maintain accurate record keeping and report writing
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
- Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of New York
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Working knowledge of Microsoft programs and EMR systems
- Strongly prefer 2 years of experience in an outpatient clinic (new graduates are welcome to apply)
Qualifications
