LPN or RN - Director of Health Services

About the role

NHC Place St Peters Memory Care is seeking an LPN or RN with prior Memory Care experience to serve as Director of Health Services. This position directs, coordinates, and evaluates the Nursing Department and services provided to residents.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate Wellness philosophy, standards, and objectives into the evaluation process for staff in the Nursing Department.
• Complete and maintain individualized assessments and update individual service plans (ISP) for all residents.
• Interview and hire employees as needed based on the budget and community needs.
• Provide orientation and education programs for the Nursing department, ensuring all personnel can demonstrate required competencies.
• Ensure resident care interventions meet personal, physical, and cognitive needs while maximizing self-care capacities, identity, choice, and social interaction.

Requirements

• Prior Memory Care experience.
• Current Missouri LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or RN (Registered Nurse) license.
• Prior experience in a management or leadership role is desired.
