About the role
Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in a medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by a physician.

Work Requirements
- Able to distinguish appropriate colors
- Ability to work above or below shoulder level
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Walk or stand on feet 90% of the day
- Routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances
Qualifications
LPN Candidates
- Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and high school diploma or equivalent
- Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
MA Candidates
- High school diploma or equivalent
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Must meet one of the following criteria:
- Attended a medical assistant training program accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools
- If your Medical Assistant program was not accredited by one of the above agencies, you will need a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following (if needed, we will assist you in obtaining a CCMA certification):
- National Healthcareer Association: CCMA
- American Medical Technologist: RMA
- American Association of Medical Assistants: AAMA
- National Center for Competency Testing: NCMA
- American Medical Certification Association: CMA
- Completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States
