Clinic LPN or Medical Assistant

About the role

Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a position open for a float position within their LeMars, Remsen, Marcus and Urgent Care Clinics. This position will work 32 hours per week and will be a License Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant (MA).

Responsibilities

• Under direct supervision of the physician, assist in patient care.
• Obtain vital signs, blood pressures, height and weights and record information.
• Perform phlebotomy and simple lab functions.

Requirements

• Licensed as a LPN or certified Medical Assistant in Iowa.
• BLS certification is required as an employee.
• Mandatory Reporter training certification is required as an employee.

Qualifications

Occasional weekend or evening shifts may be required.

Skills

None specifically listed, but requires knowledge of patient care procedures and ability to perform basic medical tasks under supervision.
