LPN or Medical Assistant - Part Time Flex - Staples Clinic

About the role

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is needed to work in the family practice at Essentia Health's Staples Clinic & Pharmacy in Staples, Minnesota. The position works 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, typically two or three days a week but can be adjusted based on facility needs. Full-time benefits are available for flex employees.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN, Physician, and other providers in providing direct patient care in an ambulatory care setting.
• Contributes to meeting Essentia Health's mission and goals.
• Performs identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated.
• Cares for patients ranging from newborns to the elderly.

Requirements

• Education as required for licensure.
• AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• LPN: Current LPN licensure in the state of Minnesota upon hire.
• CMA: Certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire.
