LPN/Medical Assistant (Part-Time)

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Greets and creates a positive patient experience with each patient and their family.
  • Conducts patients assessments including vitals and medical histories.
  • Rooms and prepares patients for procedures while maintaining neat and clean clinical areas.
  • Performs diagnostic procedures (skin testing, spirometry, etc.) and basic lab tests (CLIA waived).
  • Administers diagnostic and therapeutic medications, injections and immunizations as directed by providers.
  • Provides patient education, instruction and support regarding treatment plans.
  • Collaborates and works well in a group while providing support to others.
  • Traits patient referrals, lab orders, prior authorizations and pre-certifications.
  • Trips nurse calls and calls in prescriptions.
  • Enters, scans and updates clinical documentation (EMR) ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains and stocks medical supply inventory and equipment.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • LPN, RMA, CMA or MA or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills with a clear and pleasant voice.
  • Neat, professional appearance.

Pay

Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Part-time - Tuesday's & Thursday's (Options available for additional days if desired).
