About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our ambulatory care team in Sheldon, IA.

Responsibilities

• ensuring patient safety and comfort
• documenting medical histories
• administering medications and treatments
• providing technical support to healthcare providers
• counseling patients and families on prevention and care plans
• work under supervision of registered nurses or physicians
• act as primary nurse within scope
• build long-term patient relationships
• collaborate with an interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

• graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• current unencumbered LPN license
• required competencies or certifications
• must pass pre-employment screening and meet licensure requirements
