LPN or MA - Cape Neurology Specialists
JOBSUMMARY
Performs a variety of patient care activities and assists the provider and nursing staff to maintain the highest standard practice of care in accordance with state licensure regulations.

REQUIREMENTS
- Type: Full Time (80 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)
- Typical hours for this position: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent – required
- Certification & Licensures: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – preferred
- BLS Certification
- Experience: Skill in taking vital signs, multi-tasking, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, communicating clearly, understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions, basic computer skills, learning and performing diagnostic testing/procedures such as x-rays and non-waived testing
- LPN Education: Graduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing program
- Certification & Licensures: Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri. BLS certification
- Experience: Skill in taking vital signs, history, attention to detail, patient education and instruction, multi-tasking, establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, communicating clearly, understanding and responding to detailed oral and written instructions, assuming responsibility for professional growth and development, learning and utilizing diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs
