About the role
Baptist Health is seeking an LPN to join the OR Scrub Tech Team. This position provides direct, individualized, goal-directed, and effective patient care under the supervision of the RN.
Responsibilities
- Provide care as outlined in the Nursing Care Plan in accordance with Standards of Practice, policies, and procedures.
- Administer medications as per the plan.
- Report patient symptoms and conditions to the RN.
- (For Employee Health) Perform new hire and annual health screenings under the direct supervision of the RN.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Active LPN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based on department assignment.
Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
- Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
- Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to remain calm in difficult situations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance.
- Able to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions.
- Able to work both independently and in a team environment.
- Able to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
