About the role
WSi Healthcare Personnel is hiring LPNs for a correctional healthcare opportunity in Carrizozo, New Mexico. We have day and night opportunities, with full-time, part-time, and PRN options to fit your schedule.
Pay
$35–$40 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule
- Day shift: 6:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
- Night shift: 10:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.
- Weekday and weekend opportunities available
- Full-time, part-time, and PRN options
Responsibilities
- Medication passes
- Intake screenings and health assessments
- Obtaining vital signs
- Responding to patient concerns and medical emergencies
- Monitoring ongoing and chronic healthcare needs
- Communicating patient needs and changes in condition to the appropriate medical provider
- Working with healthcare and facility staff
- Maintaining accurate documentation, including paper medication administration records (MARs)
Qualifications
No correctional experience required. We’re looking for LPNs with a strong nursing foundation who communicate well, are comfortable working independently, and know when to bring a concern to the medical provider. We’ll discuss the position and expectations during the interview and answer your questions about working in a correctional facility.
