- You will monitor resident health and document changes
- You will observe and document changes in resident’s physical, mental, or emotional status
- You will communicate resident changes with the interdisciplinary team and document all observations
- You will provide direct client care
- You will administer medications as prescribed or other physician-ordered treatments
- You will ensure accurate transcription of new physician orders and maintain clean, organized med carts and nursing stations
- You will communicate with residents and families
- You will educate residents about their medications, treatments, and side effects while respecting their right to make personal choices
- You will communicate changes in resident health to families, offering support and comfort during difficult times
- You will lead and support
- You will monitor and provide work direction to Nursing Assistants, offering guidance, instruction, and mentorship
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Minnesota
- CPR certification required within 6 months of hire
- Experience working with seniors in long-term care, home care, or assisted living settings is preferred
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse population, including residents with varying values, backgrounds, and capabilities
- Physical capability to perform job duties
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Ability to pass state mandated background check
Pay
$27.50/hr. - $34.00/hr. (non-exempt), based on location, qualifications, and experience.
