About the role

Our Skilled Nurses provide specialized care to patients in various areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology. You will assess the needs and implement care as necessary, utilizing the latest technology, and be part of a strong interdisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Perform treatments such as wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis.
- Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families about medication changes, treatment plans, and patient conditions.
- Provide preventative and supportive care to enhance the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
- Supervise the Nurse Aide team, giving direction, assignments, providing training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in interactions with guests, their families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy healing environment.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan; current CPR-BLS certification.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
- High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care, and develop solutions to complex problems.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional, passionate, and innovative care.
- Team player with a dedication to supporting team members and achieving goals.

Pay and Schedule
- Up to $36.40 per hour, starting wage ranges from $29.00 to $33.00 per hour based on years of certification, plus $3.40 per hour hero pay, and yearly wage increases.
- Scheduling options include 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and some holidays, available as full-time or part-time positions, and days or midnights.
