About the role
We are seeking a Novice Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with less than 12 months of experience to join a specialized training program. In this role, you will work 1-on-1 with patients in home settings, gaining hands-on experience in direct patient care, vent/trach/g-tube management, and critical thinking under the mentorship of an experienced nurse.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor effectiveness, and document progress
- Respond to changes in patient condition and communicate with supervisors or physicians
- Ensure safety and proper use of equipment following universal precautions
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Active LPN/LVN license
- Current CPR certification
- PPD or chest X-ray if applicable
