Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in data collection for patient assessments.
- Delivers personalized nursing care in conjunction with the Registered Nurse to address the holistic, age-specific needs of patients.
- Administers appropriate nursing interventions aligned with the Plan of Care and professional standards, integrating the Physician’s medical plans of care.
- Conducts Hourly Rounds using Service Excellence Standards.
- Fosters an environment marked by caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
- Utilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to safeguard both patients and staff.
- Applies standard work procedures in caring for central lines, Foley catheters, pressure ulcers, restraints, and patients at risk for falls.
- Participates actively in problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid South Carolina LPN license.
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- Works part-time, 48 hours bi-weekly (Nights; 7p-7a).
- Required to work every other weekend.
