Bedside Patient Care
- Perform vital signs and assessments
- Administer medications
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Prepare and assist during doctor’s treatments and examinations
- Communicate changes in patient behavior or condition to the charge nurse and provider
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Delegate tasks to aides when appropriate
- Supervise and assist with coordination of patient care activities
Skills & Knowledge
- Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program
- Current Nebraska LPN licensure
- Current BLS certification
Qualifications
- Wear appropriate uniforms that are clean and neat
- Maintain good personal hygiene
